Let me take you on a journey of change.

Allow yourself to dream, and imagine young people in your area working together to help end poverty. Picture the leaders of tomorrow gaining vision and passion for a world they will help shape. This dream is developing into reality through a new project, The Hallows Eve Diversion.

The Hallows Eve Diversion is a flip on the normal festivities of Halloween. It takes America’s 2nd biggest holiday, and uses it as an opportunity for young people to collect items for those who are under-resourced in your area. This is generally (though not always) accomplished by students, working together to create a better community.  We would like to invite you to be a part of this historic event, and run this project in your area with the people that you lead.

This Halloween, let’s turn a holiday into a symbol of hope.

This is the 3rd year for The Hallows Eve Diversion. This year we’re graciously being hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College. Also, Origin- their student organization is taking the lead role in operating this monumental night!

Regular Directions:

From Atlanta: Take I-85 North for 24 miles to Highway 316/University Parkway. Travel 6.6 miles and turn left at the first traffic light (Collins Hill Road). Travel 0.2 miles on Collins Hill Rd. and turn left into the Campus East Entrance. The Admissions office is in the first building on the right.

From Athens: Take the Route 10 by-pass (approx. 10 miles) to Highway 316 towards Lawrenceville/Atlanta. Continue on Highway 316 for 33.4 miles and turn Right onto Collins Hill Road. Travel 0.2 miles on Collins Hill Rd. and turn left into the Campus East Entrance. The Admissions office is in the first building on the right.

From I-75: Take I-75 South to 285 East. From 285 East, take I-85 North and follow the right-hand split onto Highway 316. Take Highway 316 for 6.6 miles and turn left at the first traffic light (Collins Hill Road). Travel 0.2 miles on Collins Hill Rd. and turn left into the Campus East Entrance. The Admissions office is in the first building on the right.

From Duluth: From downtown Duluth, travel East on Duluth Hwy (120) for 4.3 miles. Turn Right onto Sugarloaf Parkway and continue to Highway 316 (1.4 miles). Exit Left onto Highway 316 East towards Athens. Travel 4 miles and turn left at the first traffic light (Collins Hill Road). Travel 0.2 miles on Collins Hill Rd. and turn left into the Campus East Entrance. The Admissions office is in the first building on the right.

From Snellville: Take Highway 124 SW (approx. 6.5 miles) into Lawrenceville. Follow the signs to Highway 316. Turn Left onto Highway 316. Travel 0.8 miles to the first intersection, Collins Hill Road and turn right. Turn Right onto Collins Hill Road. Travel 0.2 miles on Collins Hill Rd. and turn left into the Campus East Entrance. The Admissions office is in the first building on the right.

From Greenville: Take I-85 South to Exit 115. Exit onto Highway 20. Take the Right lane, traveling Eastbound towards Lawrenceville. Follow Highway 20 to Russell Road (4.7 miles) and turn right. Travel 1.6 miles and turn left onto Collins Hill Road. Travel 1.8 miles to University Center lane and turn right into the Georgia Gwinnett College

We have organized everything for you.  We are set to send college students to visit thousands of homes on Oct 31st, and we need your help!  Just show up with a few friends on Saturday, October 31st and we will tell you what homes to visit, how to get there, and what to do.  This is a can’t-miss event, so we hope to see you there!

In 2008, a group of over 250 middle school, high school, and college students collected over 30,000 items in one night.
